Decorative Rock

Black Lava

Size varies from ¾” to 1” making it a creative choice for landscape design. This unique rock is mined from lava pits in the Barstow area. The black shade of this rock offsets shrubs, plants, and flowers with surprisingly visual contrasts.

Red Lava

¾” to 1” rock similar to the Black Lava Rock. The reddish shade is more subtle but still is a great choice to give a different landscape effect with your annuals or perennials. It is much easier to blow leaves off this larger rock than the smaller pea-sized gravels.

Decorative Crushed Rock

Decorate Crushed Rock comes in a variety of natural colors and sizes. They are angular in shape which help lock the product in place. A minimum of 2″ in depth is recommended in order to cover the ground or weed fabric.

Arizona River Rock is a smooth round stone composed of natural Blues,Grays, & Reds. This product is an extremely popular stone and can be used for many applications including dry riverbeds or just basic ground cover.

This material comes in various sizes, Small 3/8″-3/4″, Medium 3/4″-1.5″, Large 1.5″-3.0″, & Jumbo 3″-6″.

Arizona River Rock

Arizona River Rock comes in three shades of blue, pink, and gray interweave in this popular landscape stone. The assortment of 3 different sizes makes this rock even more exciting to work within your landscaping scene. Small Arizona is 3/8” to 3/4”, Large Arizona is 3/4” – 1 1/2”, the third size is 3” Arizona. Others

Sand

Fill Sand

Is a screened SC 30 gas sand used to backfill when installing gas lines. Can also be used to fill sandbags, add drainage in horse stalls, and to be mixed with existing soil to add drainage.

Washed Sand

This is a 2 MM minus sand that is similar to sand found at the beach. This is used in play areas, for mixing concrete, and under swimming pools.

Arena Sand

Coarse well-draining sand used for horse arenas and other livestock areas.

Gravel

3/4" Crushed Gravel

Crushed gravel is a type of utility gravel that is used under sheds or for driveways. It’s ¾” in size and we have both grey and light colors (the light is almost white).

Road Base - Gravel

Road base consists of ¾” gravel with some fines added. This product is used for driveways and setting pavers. Suggested use is 2” of road base and 2” of DG with 3” pavers.

Concrete Mix - Gravel

Cement Mix (or C-Mix) is a blend of 3/8” crushed rock and Sand. Use 1 yard of C-Mix with a 5 lb. bag of concrete for cement.

Gravel & Aggregates

3/4" Gravel

Crushed gravel is a low-cost basic rock used under Sheds, for Driveways, Or as Drainage Rock. Color may vary.

3/8" Pea Gravel

Crushed Pea size gravel great for general use or a low-cost decorative pea gravel. Color may vary.

Class II Road Base

Road base is a true spec base. It consists of 3/4" Gravel with added fines. This product is used for driveways, setting pavers, and underneath concrete. The typical application rate is 2" to 4" thick.

C-Mix

C-Mix is a blend of 3/8" crushed rock and washed mason sand. The typical ratio for concrete is one part cement to five parts C-Mix.

Recycled Base

Recycled Base is similar to Class II Base except that it is made from crushed concrete. It is most commonly used underneath artificial turf at a depth of 2" - 4".

Decomposed Granite (DG) is a natural product typically derived from crushed rock dust. DG is widely used in desert-scape applications as well as pathways, driveways & many other high traffic areas. We can also mix in a DG Stabilizer that acts as a glue after the material is compacted & wet.
